Happy Easter!

Well Halas woke us up at 5 to say Happy Easter but the kids made it until 7:30. They were so excited to look in their baskets and then raced outside for an early morning Easter egg hunt. Happy Easter everyone!!!!!!

Well we couldn't wait any longer so after the TCU baseball game yesterday we decided to surprise the kids and go and pick Halas up a week early. He lasted all of 2 minutes in the kennel on the way home before we gave in to his barking and let him ride on my lap for the rest of the drive. He is absolutely adorable. He follows us everyone and loves the kids. Tyler told me last night that he never knew puppies would be so fun. The kids sing songs about him all day and can hardly stand it when he's sleeping . . . . which seems to be more during the day than the night which is fun for Dave and I. But we are soooooooo in love with this little guy and the sleepless nights are well worth it!

Outdoor Fun

The weather this time of year is just amazing here in Texas. We've been spending most of our time outside and who knew a bucket of water and some squirt guns could be so fun . . . .

We LOVE tennis!

The kids started taking tennis lessons at the beginning of the month and have been LOVING it. They go for an hour on Tuesday evenings at the tennis courts just down the street. We will keep up the lessons through May and then see how they feel about tennis once the Texas heat sets in! Here's a picture of them dressed and ready for last weeks lesson.

Meet Our Newest Addition

We are FINALLY getting a dog. We went to meet him today. His name is Halas and he will be moving in April 30th. We can't wait . . . .

Miss Emma has had a week. Her poor tummy has been acting up so she was home most of the week getting things all straightened out. She's feeling better now and wanted to show everyone her new glasses (she has 2 pair . . . a red pair and a black pair). She's looking so grown up and quite stylish . . . .
