Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween. We headed up to Lantana to walk the Monster Mile. It's a mile long trail of different characters handing out candy. The kids were in heaven. Emma especially loved hugging all of the characters. Tyler loved getting all of the candy. After the Monster Mile we went trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood. We met a couple of our soon-to-be neighbors and walked through the house. We are counting the days and can hardly wait to move!!!!

A Day Off with Dad

Dave took the day off today and we enjoyed every moment of it. We took Tyler to school and then headed to the bookstore.

Here's a picture of Dave reading a book to Emma.

Then we headed over to check out the house.

This evening we took the kids to a high school football game in Southlake. We watched the Carroll Dragons play and the kids were mesmerized.

Pumpkin Time

Here are some pictures from our trip to the pumpkin patch. The kids had a great time riding the train, running through mazes, climbing haystacks, hurdling pumpkins, and finding the biggest pumpkin they could to take home.

The finished product!!!!!!

We're Going on an Adventure

This morning I asked the kids if they wanted to go on an adventure. Little did I know that our walk on the trail would be QUITE an adventure. We played at the park, collected leaves, rescued a catfish we saw on the trail (sorry I didn't get a better picture), and saw a coyote!!!

Fort Worth Zoo

We made our first trip to the Fort Worth Zoo today. It was amazing. I'm not sure what the kids enjoyed more . . . . Seeing all of the animals or running from one exhibit to the other!

Anxiously Awaiting

Grandma Carol came to visit us this week. She flew in on a late flight so the kids decided to wear their PJs to the airport. Here's a picture of them dressed and more than ready to go pick her up!

Home Sweet Home

We walked through the house tonight. Wow they have been busy. We have hard wood floors, cabinets, and a banister.

The entry with our new banister.

We've had a lot of rain around here lately. The kids and I spent one rainy afternoon making pirate projects . . . . .

A Morning Walk

The kids and I went for a walk this morning. It was cloudy, and rained at times, but we still had a great time. We stopped to watch a train go by and look for some fish along the way

The looks I got when I said say "cheese."

A cave they made while it was raining.

Emma's not so sure about the train we hear coming down the tracks.

Okay now she loves it!

Looking for fish . . . .

Love his smile and his laugh is contagious!!!!
