A Month of Firsts

Well it's been an exciting few weeks around here for Tyler. He got his first pair of glasses and lost his first tooth (well 2 to be exact). Tyler had been getting quite a few headaches and always seemed to be rubbing his eyes so I decided it was time to see the doctor. Sure enough his left eye was 20/50!!!! He insisted on sports glasses and LOVES them. Then earlier this week one of his permanent teeth broke threw before his baby tooth had fallen out so we made a trip to the dentist. The dentist noticed that not only was this tooth in trouble but so was the one next to it. So he pulled 2 teeth yesterday. Tyler was so brave and SO excited for his first visit from the Tooth Fairy. He woke up at 5:30 this morning to see what the Tooth Fairy had brought for him!!!!!!!

It's that wonderful time of year . . . .

I just LOVE this time of year. My parents and brother flew out for Thanksgiving and we had so much fun hanging out with them. Santa even made a surprise visit while they were here to bring the kids their first Elf on a Shelf. It was such and amazing experience!!! We are loving our Elf. The kids named him Spirit. Tonight we went to the tree lighting in town and enjoyed all kinds of holiday festivities.

The Soccer Season Comes to an End

I should have taken SOOOOOOOOO many more pictures last weekend. We had so much fun hosting Emma's soccer party. All the kids enjoyed the bounce house and everyone got a long so well. Such a great group of kids!!

Happy Halloween

We had an amazing Halloween. We enjoyed our annual Lantana tradition of walking the Monster Mile and then had a blast trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. The kids had a TON of candy until the Great Pumpkin took it all off of our hands!!!!!

We have been loving all of this playoff baseball!!!!!!!!!!! Tyler has been wearing a Ranger's shirt everyday now for weeks. The games have been so fun to watch but have made for some late nights.
